A Kenyan man who is believed to have “committed suicide” suddenly woke up in a hospital after being confirmed dead.
24-year-old Paul Mutora “resurrected” and gave hospital staff a fright after waking up in a hospital mortuary.
Mr Mutora, from Limuru, had been rushed to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead after drinking insecticide following an argument with his father.
Mutora had been confirmed dead at the Naivasha District Hospital for between 15 to 20 hours before the incident. KTN Kenya said that several mortuary attendants ‘took to their heels’ when Mr Mutora woke up inside one of the mortuary chambers where he was due to be embalmed and started calling for help.
