Why am I a blogger, that is the question most bloggers have not answered before going into the blogosphere, as a result of this, they find themselves struggling to even earn a cent from blogging. In this article, I would be setting the mindset for you to have if you are to make it as a blogger. The following tips would aid you in blogging:
Blogging is a Business
If you have sat down with an most average entrepreneur, you would found out that they feel what they do cannot earn them enough money neither can they feed from it, they keep waiting for God to miraculously provide a big job for them that would make them earn more, in fact, they lack the vision to grow in it. Nothing is really small in Life; it is how much time you put to grow that talent that really matters. If you do not see blogging as a business, you would definitely remain in one spot for year and maybe later fade out.
The Alexa Fever
Very soon, I would write a full article on this, I term it the Alexa fever because, this what young blogger worry about so much, what is the reason you blog, if it is to make money or grow your Alexa ranking in month, then you do not have the mindset to grow a brand that would stand the test of time. Most bloggers think it is not real people that come to their blog so they do not blog uniquely, there is something that keep visitors coming to your blog and bookmarking you, this is your method and approach. If you are fond of copying post and pasting on your site without even reading what you are posting, you would only have a blog full of garbage, and who want to read garbage?
Worrying about what your site ranks is needless, think about building a relationship with your reader bringing fun and life into your blog, doing this, your blog would automatically grow.
What is your Investment Plan
There is nothing good that comes without sacrifice, what sacrifice am I willing to give to my blog, do I intend to grow my blog to want I want? Am I investing in Advertisement, Am I investing my time properly? Am I willing to write quality article for my blog over a period of 3yrs. Do I have the time to manage and write articles? Can I employ someone to write for me if I do not have the time? Answering these questions would set you in the right path.
Defining a Niche
In order to become a brand name or celebrity blogger, one must define a niche he/ she have passion for. Going into a niche (What a blogger chooses to write about) that you do not have enough understanding about would only make you a copy cat. Get information on how you can grow your niche online.
