Well as you know, it is important for a good webmasters to have good knowledge on SEO, to me, SEO simple means exposing your links to Google Search Engines. Today I would be teaching an important technique on how to generate sitemap for blogger, well, I believe you already know how to add sitemap to Google Webmaster Tool, if not, expect my tutorial for that tomorrow. Sitemap is an XML page that list all your post and link making it easier for search engines to identify them. For blogger, you already have a sitemap installed for you, all you need is the URL access. The only limitation is that the default list is only up to 25 post. So we would also expose how we can generate for all articles on your blog.

How to Generate Default Sitemap on Blogger

To access your default sitemap, visit this link:

http://yourblogname.blogspot.com/atom.xml?redirect=false

How to Create a Full Sitemap for your Blogger Website

That list is limited to 25, so let assume you intend to list the first 500 posts on your blog, you use this link:

http://yourblogname.blogspot.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500

This would list the first 500 post on your blog, to generate for more pages, we need to just create multiple sitemaps like this:

http://yourblogname.blogspot.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500
http://yourblogname.blogspot.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=501&max-results=500
