Adding Google Analytical to your Blogger or Website

Google Analytical helps boost your SEO, and it is needed for Google to track your traffic properly, luckily, this service is FREE and provided by Google. To use this service, you must have a valid Google user account. I believe you have this already. so, let get started:

Login to Google Analytical Portal

To start, you have to visit http://www.google.com/analytics/ and sign-in into your account using the button at the top of the page, if you have already linked a website before, you may need to click on Admin and under accounts, click on new account, but for those that are new to this and have no registered account, the first page you would see would be "New Account", for this tutorial, we are tracking website.

- Enter a name for the account e.g Clarke Analytical
- Enter your full website name e.g Clarke Gilbert
- Enter your website URL and possible category of interest
- After all this, scroll to the bottom and click Get Tracking: You may need to accept to Google terms and conditions.

Once successful, a tracking id would be generated for you, you need to copy the code just under; "This is your tracking code. Copy and paste it into the code of every page you want to track." into your propose website. This code can be paste just before the closing html tag for your blogger or website theme, for those of you that do not know a closing body tag, this is it:

</body>

For blogger users, you have to follow this process to edit your template:

Before Settings, templates ==> Edit HTML, then scroll to the bottom to paste your code as instructed before that tag.

That all you need to fix that SEO problem
